Description

Engineers are currently investigating a slowness issue affecting some websites. This has been linked to intermittent packets loss across the network. Please bear with us whilst we investigate the cause and potential resolution.

[resolved] Final alterations to resolve the earlier network issue were made last night, so we are now marking this matter as resolved.

[monitoring] Monitoring continues.

10th February 2020, at 1:38PM

[monitoring] Networking has remained stable since alterations this morning, so we're updating this issue to a monitoring status. More work will be needed to fully resolve the matter, but we will plan that during out-of-hours maintenance and update this post once that plan is in place.

[unresolved] Engineers have re-routed data traffic to drop a suspected bad transit route. We will continue to monitor and update in due course.

[unresolved] Following an improvement overnight, we are aware that the networking issue remains unresolved and work continues this morning to isolate an fix the problem.

The issue will continue to affect some customers more than others, and for them will show as all services, email and web, being impacted.

[unresolved] Our network engineers are continuing to investigate this problem and are liasing with suppliers to establish the cause.

[unresolved] Our engineers continue to work on a resolution to this problem. We are still seeing intermittent connectivity resulting in periods of outage for both websites and email.
