Description

Update at 12:54:23(BST): Having liaised with the owner of the offending domain, we're now back to a good level of performance and all services appear to be running well.



Update at 09:48:24(BST): Server14 is now back up and running. The issue appears to be related to one domain name in particular and we will be contacting the owner in due course.

We shall continue to keep an eye on server14 for the next few hours.


We're currently investigating an issue with the reseller server, Server14. Engineers are currently working to bring this back to service as soon as is possible.

Atmail Load Issues (webmail.34sp.com)

Update at 09:25:02(BST): Update at 10:01:52(BST): The initial issue appears to be resolved, however both customer-facing webmail servers are experiencing a very high surge of connections as a result of customers re-trying to download e-mail.

Please accept our apologies - things should get smoother shortly.

We have another customer-facing machine to come into service very shortly, which should hopefully provide service improvements during these peaks.



We've been experiencing a huge surge in load on one of our two customer-facing servers that provide the Atmail webmail facility.

We're currently working on this and hope to have the issue resolved soon.

There was a slight issue with prohost1 and prohost6 that lasted around 10 minutes.

This should now be resolved but we will continue to monitor these servers for a while.

Update at 02:23:14(BST): The issue has now been resolved with this server.

Resolved around 15 minutes ago; all services relying on our database should have returned to normal.



As part of the upgrades to our Professional platform, the 34SP.com website and account management pages will be temporarily inactive.

These services should be restored by 02:00 BST at the latest.

Professional Hosting Maintenance (All 'prohost' servers)

Description

Update at 03:10:01(BST): The issue has now been resolved with this server.

All Professional hosting services have now been returned to service. If you are experiencing any lingering issues following this maintenance period, please contact support via e-mail.



Update at 02:24:24(BST): The planned maintenance has fallen slightly behind schedule, but all Professional hosting machines are currently being brought back online one-by-one. We hope to have this process completed within the next 30-40 minutes.

We appreciate your patience in this matter.


Update at 22:37:08(BST): Update at 21:57:41(BST): The planned work will be commencing shortly.


As a reminder to our customers, the planned outage of the Professional hosting will begin in approximately 40 minutes, 22:00 BST.

Please note that all Professional hosting websites will be offline. E-mail, however, will not be affected.

This period of maintenance will last until 02:00 BST.

Server 3 Services Unavailable (server3.xenserve.com)

Update at 21:19:24(BST): This service status entry is now marked as resolved.



Update at 15:15:38(BST): Server3 is now back up with all services running. We're performing a routine check of all databases in light of the sudden outage. We're also investigating the cause of the outage in order to hopefully prevent any further disruption.


Update at 14:54:33(BST): Server3 is now performing a routine check of all disks as it is booting - this will take a short while to ensure all data is intact.

We apologise for this incident and appreciate your continued patience.


Update at 14:28:56(BST): Server3 has gone down again. We are currently investigating as to the cause of this outage and are working to return the machine to service as soon as possible.


Update at 08:36:55(BST): The machine is now back up, we're checking all databases as a matter of procedure and will continue to monitor this machine for further issues.


Update at 08:31:10(BST): The machine has been rebooted and is currently performing routine checks of its filesystems. We hope to have the machine up and working again shortly.


The services on server3 are currently not responding and the server is not responding to SSH access. We have notified an engineer and are waiting for them to investigate the issue. Any updates will be posted as soon as they are received.

Update at 10:35:21(BST): The issue with this server has now been marked as resolved.



Update at 09:23:14(BST): VPS9 has been rebooted and Engineers are investigating the cause of the issue.

VPS' will come up one by one over the next 10-15 minutes.

We have had reports of VPS' not responding on VPS9 - the host itself is unreachable. We have contacted the engineers to investigate the matter.

Queeg Emergency Migration (queeg.34sp.com)

Update at 09:20:50(BST): The issue has now been resolved with this server.



The migration was completed late last night and any lingering DNS issues should all be resolved this point.
