Update at 17:01:12(BST): The issue has now been resolved with this server.A reboot was eventually needed. We've made a couple of changes to the server software to prevent a repeat of the problems.
Engineers are currently investigating reports of prohost27 running under extreme load and therefore making websites on this server unavailable. Further information will be posted as soon as they become available.

Update at 15:16:03(BST): This issue is now marked as resolved following several days of full availability.
Update at 14:39:55(BST): Issue traced by our provider to "light loss" in a fibre optic cable which has now been replaced. Everything seems back to normal for now, but we will continue to monitor.
Update at 14:00:42(BST): Our transit provider has confirmed an issue with fibre optic cabling and suspect this has been severed by external contractors.
As soon as further details become available, we will update accordingly.
We are currently aware of network wide issues.

Update at 14:06:08(BST): The issue has now been resolved with this server.This evening one of our network providers is performing maintenance.
Our Atmail email system relies on this link and will be unavailable during this period. The maintenance is expected to last no more than two hours during 00.30 and 06.00.
While email on Atmail will not be accessible, any email sent to your account during this time will be queued at the senders end, for re-delivery once the system is available once more.

Prohost 15 is being rebooted and a small security update is being added. We don't expect this to take long and we'll update this once everything is back and checked.

Update at 19:15:26(BST): The issue has now been resolved with this server.Engineers have found a backlog of emails and these have been pushed through. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Engineers are currently looking at issues affecting outgoing mail.
This affects professional accounts, reseller accounts, business accounts and personal account that paid for the SMTP service as an extra.
Mails are arriving at our server but have not been delivered to the recipient. We are pushing these mails through now, but delays are to be expected.

Update at 01:42:03(BST): The issue has now been resolved with this server.Network upgrade is now complete, thanks for your patience.
Update at 00:22:24(BST): This upgrade is now beginning. This post will updated when the upgrade completes. We do have staff manning phones if you have queries during this upgrade.
We are shortly set to begin a brief upgrade on our network. This will be to relocate two core routers within our Manchester facility, plus final installation of a new transit line.
During the upgrade there may be degraded access to our network for some users. This should last for no more than 10-15 minutes.
