Matrix.34sp.com Migration (matrix.34sp.com)

resolved

Description

The Matrix migration is now complete. If you are experiencing any lingering issues post-migration, please contact 34SP.com Support.

The main stream migrations of matrix.34sp.com have now been completed.

Please allow 24hrs for all dns to update (should be around an hour - but some ISPs can cache dns), if after this time you are having issues please do let us know.

If you have any scripting issues from the move to the newer versions of php/mysql please do ensure you are running the latest version of scripts available.

This server is currently being migrated as per the email sent last week, below is a copy of the email that was sent to all users:

This email is in regards to the following domains that you have hosted on the matrix.34sp.com server:

DOMAIN

Starting Wednesday July 16th we will begin migrating domains from the matrix.34sp.com server to some newer hosting servers within the personal hosting range. The migration will cause around 1hrs downtime when the final switch over to the new IP address takes place.

The server your account will be moved to will be running much newer versions of mysql/php and plesk, this may cause some issues with some older scripts as such you should ensure that you update any scripts to the latest versions as soon as possible.

If you have SSL or Anonymous FTP on your domain please contact us so we can migrate your domain ahead of these main migrations to avoid any issues with SSL certficates when doing the main migration.

The IP address that your account is hosted on will change, so if you do not use 34SP for your dns management please do contact us so we can deal with your move prior to the main migration.

If you are a user of 'frontpage publishing' please also contact us as you will need to go to a specific server as support for this has been discontinued from microsoft and only certain servers have this ability now.

Please note that any old logs (access_log.processed*) maybe removed prior to these migrations, if you wish to retain these for historical data please download these as soon as possible.

If you have any questions regarding this move, please do contact us as soon as possible.
