19:30: All services are now up and running.

19:05: The gambit server is now being brought back online. Due to a bad shutdown the system is performing a full disk scan. After this completes all services should be back online.

Mail sending issues

UPDATE @ 5.15PM

The sending mail issue has now been resolved. There is however a large queue of mails that are being delivered so there will be some delays until the system has caught up.

UPDATE @ 12:14pm, 17/07/09 Apologies for the delay in updating. This issue was resolved in the afternoon of the 14th.

UPDATE @ 10:40am, 14/07/09 Some possible issues have been identified in relation to the mail server on gambit, and these are currently being investigated further and corrected where possible.

UPDATE @ 3.06pm The SMTP server is still displaying issues and engineers are again looking into this.

We are currently monitoring an ongoing issue with email and slow siteadmin on the Gmbit server, This affects users with Frontpage Support accounts on Gambit only.
