We're getting reports of users getting a bounce message when trying to send mail that reports "Relay access denied". Engineers are investigating the cause as a matter of urgency.

We're seeing a lot of service restarts happening with this server and high server loads. This is affecting most websites hosted on prohost29.34sp.com.
There appears to be a couple of sites that are hacked and some random attacks to others. We've now contacted the customers with the hacked sites and disabled them for now. Security has been improved on the server to handle the attacks. We should see less restarts and better performance. We shall continue to investigate and we'll keep a close eye on this.

We are currently investigating an issue affecting some users' access to their Mercury hosted e-mail service. If you are being affected, you will see a slow or failed login when trying to access your mail using webmail or your email client. We are working to resolve this matter as soon as possible.

Prohost16 has become unresponsive. We are currently investigating this and it is likely a reboot will be needed for the server. Emails will be unaffected whilst this happens. We hope to see everything working again on this server in the next few minutes.

We are performing some emergency maintenance on the systems powering our Mercury email platform and as a result, email will be unavailable for a few minutes. During this time, email sent to users of the platform will be queued at the sending server and will be delivered as soon as we have the platform restored to service.

We are currently receiving reports of intermittent routing issues to our professional hosting servers causing websites to appear down to some users.
Our engineers are investigating in to the cause of this at present and hope to find the underlying cause soon.

We're going to apply a quick security update for the server to help protect against various attacks. This will require a quick reboot which we shall do now. We expect an outage of around a couple of minutes. Emails will be unaffected.
