VPS2 Down (vps2.34sp.com)

resolved

Description

This status is being resolved as VPS2 has performed satisfactorily over the last week. Nevertheless, we have taken the decision to begin migrating VPS' away from some of our older hosts and will contact any affected customers in due course. Any customers that wish to be migrated early are welcome to contact us ahead of time.

VPS2 is finally back up and running. All VPS' have been started and a snapshot is being taken of each VPS in case there are further issues. (Which may see a few minutes pause per-VPS as the backup is sychronised.)

Any customer that wishes to have their VPS migrated away from VPS2 should e-mail support@34sp.com with the request and we will attempt to process this as quickly as possible.

At this point we wish to thank our customers on VPS2 for their patience throughout this issue.

VPS2 will remain in a 'monitoring' state, until we are satisfied with its performance.

We can only apologise for the continued outage of VPS2. At present we're still working on the disk file systems and will continue to do so until further notice.

The Engineer has arrived at the data centre and a full file system check is running on VPS2. This will unfortunately take an unknown length of time to complete.

As of approximately 5 minutes ago, VPS2 has gone down and all customer VPS' are currently unresponsive.

We are currently doing everything in our power to return this machine to working service, however this does involve waiting for an Engineer to arrive on-site.
