Prohost4.34sp.com ongoing (Prohost4.34sp.com)

resolved

Description

We have been looking at fault on the prohost4.34sp.com server through the last 48 hours.

Recurring load on the server is exceptionally high. When this happens, www and/or mysql services can temporarily fail. Email is unaffected.

Right now we are monitoring the server with an additional level of care. While outages do occur, they are fairly sporadic and limited to 2-3 minutes maximum.

It will take a little longer to diagnose and correct these faults. In the meantime if these faults are severely affecting your websites performance we would be happy to assist in a migration of your account to a completely different prohosting system.

This should alleviate issues within 24 hours for you (DNS migration can take upto 24 hours).

Network Congestion (N/A)

resolved

Description

The congestion appears to have been a one-off (legitimate) peak and all services appear to be running normally. Please contact support if you continue to have connectivity issues.

The network congestion appears to have passed rather quickly - however we are still monitoring the network and the server in question for now.

We've noticed that we're actually experiencing a large amount of network traffic to one particular switch port, and this is placing some strain on single parts of the network. The server attached to the switch port in particular is currently being investigated.

Formally: 'Server14 Down'

Sending E-mail via SMTP/Webmail (smtp2.34sp.com, smtp5.34sp.com & smtp6.34sp.com)

resolved

Description

16:13 - The issue is now resolved. All SMTP servers can be confirmed as working.

All users are advised to continue using smtp.34sp.com and/or their own smtp.domain.tld addresses for SMTP connections, as these will provide the best level of redundancy.

16:07 - We believe that the issue should now be resolved, however Engineers will continue to monitor the affected SMTP servers.

Currently you may be unable to send e-mail via the Atmail system, or via SMTP upgrades (used with Professional/Personal & Reseller hosting).

Engineers are currently dealing with the system that hosts all three of the aforementioned machines.

In the mean time, users may temporarily use smtp3.34sp.com, smtp4.34sp.com or smtp7.34sp.com as drop-in replacements.
